Autumn has now arrived and with it the wet weather. We have been keeping a 'low profile', for the last couple of years, work wise, to spend time building an extension and start to renovate our own house. We now have a lovely new kitchen and have completed many other jobs in and around the house. Unfortunately the couple of years was extended a bit by the Covid-19 pandemic. I am also 'rubbish' at keeping blogs and social media up to date so have decided to scrap the old one and start afresh.
For the above reasons I have only been doing a few small landscaping jobs and garden maintenance but from next year it's back to full work mode. With the uncertainty of Covid-19 this year some landscaping jobs have been put on hold by clients, for a variety of reasons, until a later date. Fortunately this shortfall was quickly filled by a big increase in garden clearance/maintenance works, plus this had led to additional jobs from satisfied customers either for them or being recommended to others.
It has been a little strange doing work for people you have only emailed and/or spoken to on the phone, which has occurred a few times this year. It wasn't until a month after I had finished the garden shown in the photo and eventually met the client that I knew I had cleared the right garden - up until then there was always a nagging doubt.
Over the next few weeks I hope to publish some posts of completed jobs from the last 2 to 3 years and keep up-to-date posts with current work.
